Thank you so much Quixote and Barb for your kind and caring words, I appreciate it so much. I thought I would share with you all something my son wrote for his little baby boy that was read at the funeral. To My Son A million thoughts run through my mind The questions flow as time unwinds Just days have passed although it seems I've live your lifetime in my Dreams The ball that we will never pass The bike you'll never ride The smile that never crossed your lips The tears you never cried A softly uttered single word The first you'll ever speak Running barefoot through the grass And playing hide and seek Your tiny head laid on my chest Your breath upon my cheek The joy that's in a father's heart As you lie fast asleep A tiny hand held tight in mine A simple goodnight kiss Small things we sometimes take for granted Now are deeply missed They say that time will heal all wounds Those words I can't believe The piece of me that's missing Time cannot retrieve
