Subject: Vue and Poser: a force to be reckoned!

  1. Vue does do atmospheric effects, though it handles them differently than Poser. Basically, when you import a Poser scene, you only import the objects and textures, not the lighting. Vue's lighting is in many ways superior to Poser's. You can do point light sources, for example. 2) Yes. Vue is so much faster and more stable. However, I still render in Poser 5 sometimes. Vue will import Poser 5 scenes, but not dynamic hair or cloth (yet - they promise it's coming soon). So any image using the hair or cloth rooms must be rendered in Poser 5. Also, you have to set your runtimes up carefully if you're planning to render in Vue, because Vue will only load from the main runtime.
