As to learning where everything goes, this is a good idea just for general info, and for those times when the zip extract paths have conflicting info in them and might duplicate folders in your Poser directory. B4 I install anything, especially the .exe files, I extract them to a folder I call "Extract for Viewing" using path info. This lets me take a look at stuff to make sure it is going to end up in the right place. [If everything checks out you can even cut/paste files right into your Poser directory from the viewing folder in most cases. 3DPO Explorer is a good utility to use with this method.]
