Nice Toon BTW - but not what we are talking about. If your lighting is normal lighting (no hotspots), then it appears that ALL of these images are showing the inverse shading caused by reversed normals. This is strictly a Poser 5 issue but affects both the P4 and Firefly renders done in P5. It also appears that the ambient color and value may have been cranked up and this will mask the shading problems too. Ambient color should be black and ambient value should be zero for objects which are not self-illuminated or transluscent (such as a lampshade or lightbulb) Backface renders done in Poser 4 and ProPack do not shade in this manner. In other words, the "Poser 4" render engine in P5 is NOT the same as the render engine in Poser 4 or ProPak - particularly with things like this. From the looks of it, all the images you say are Poser 4 renders appear to be Poser 5 renders with the "P4" option which is not the same thing as a true Poser 4 or ProPak render. In any event, the purpose of this thread is to solicit beta testers for the corrected OBJ. So your input is appreciated, but not exactly responsive to the topic. If you want to test the new OBJ and compare the new renders with these renders, it would be greatly appreciated. thanks
