So I want to make this lattice better, so I choose to go really big and use gigantic resolution....and I want to eliminate any black or gray areas directly around the white, so I clip it, now I want to apply these changes to see if further adjustment is necessary, so I hit 'apply'.....I wait a second or two(my comp is somewhat fast)for Bryce to make the adjustments, and voila' a nice crisp lattice to work with. I don't select a res first because I don't have to, and often times don't remember to, also any changes that I make, I always hit 'apply' so that Bryce will make the adjustment on the lattice or terrain.... Hope this is useful for for you..... Sorry for the jpg compression, still trying to fix that....
