Simple solution for avoiding problems like this: Turn off Javascript in your browser. In fact, turn off all active content (Java applets, Javascript, ActiveX). Also while you are at it get rid of IE and use Mozilla or Opera or something else which is less of an insecure pig. If you have active content turned off, you can't get pop-ups or any of that other crap. Some sites require Javascript for certain things. Those that actually require it for navigation almost never have anything worth seeing, so I never see those sites. In other cases I simply turn Javascript on when I need it, then turn it off. Honestly, the Internet would be a better place if everyone simply turned off Javascript and boycotted sites that require it for navigation. Redneck - pop-up free since 1994
