To answer your question: there is no answer: it is a known bug in Poser. You can have a 200G disk with only Poser, but if you render beyond its memory limit, you will get this error. CL suggests all kinds of advanced "techie" solutions, but none of them really work... except that it will keep you buys by changing your VM settings, re-booting your PC, and restarting Poser. My suggestions: 1) Render the scene in Poser 5. It has slightly better memory management than P4. 2) Quit Poser, re-load the scenem and then Render. Sometimes the build-up of unused texture maps takes up memory. 3) Reduce the size of your texture maps. Do you really need to use a 4000x4000 body map on a character that's wearing a jacket and jeans? 4) JoeBlack- You don't say what OS you're using, but if it's Windows 98, then give it up. Upgrade to Win 2000 or XP, then see what happens. It is KNOWN that Windows 98 and Poser do NOT work well together. Finally, always keep in mind that Poser's error messages come from the Macintosh environment. This means that you can not "allocate more memory" (as an error message tells you to do) and that the "insufficient space" message is, basically, a lie.
