Holy Moley Bryster, if I modeled that sextant I wouldn't be pulling my hair out in Wings LOL....but it's what I'd shot for...That sextant is from the Noblecollection.com catalog, really cool fanasty stuff and perfect reference material, but very pricey stuff to order. I cut out stuff I'd like to model then figure out how to do in the modelers I have...

'extras' I'll start the metal one for my yard, I'm thinking copper and poprivets, welding supplies are too expensive at the moment, and I'll keep a photo record, actually I'll do a pictorial tutorial so everyone can build one for themselves, how's that sound? I've got a really neat process for sculpting cement, I haven't published yet, for making a unique base too....:)
