I know just what you mean, I used to keep Collies, Rough Collies is the actual name. These are the Lassie type. The snobbery that is around because one was not a prime example of her breed. I forget how many times I was asked if she was a cross breed. Poor little love was the runt of the litter, but a more loving, faithful and obediant dog would be hard to find. She won more prizes in obediance competitions than the other one did in breed classes.
