Yes, it's just so easy with well-designed P4 hair. Dynamic hair simulations are an incredible PITA, and even when you do get them to run, they don't look all that great. For still images, I sometimes mix dynamic hair with P4 hair. The link is an example from my gallery. The top part of the hair is Quarker's Silky Long Hair. The long bottom part is Poser 5 dynamic hair. Using only a small portion of dynamic hair makes the simulation bearable.
