Thanks... been playing with Carrara a lot more lately, since I got 3.0 I remember talking about this subject in the Bryce forum a while back, but I never could get my candle to glow... but I was sitting there, watching this candle burn, and it occurred to me how to do it (or something like it) with Carrara's shaders... which are, at least for me, easier to understand and work with than Bryce's DTE. Although, if you know how to play with it, the DTE can produce some pretty amazing stuff. It's just very complicated, especially considering how simple everything else in Bryce is to use.
