This has happened to me alot, especially after leaving Photoshop (a big Ram gobbler) on and trying to open a Bryce file. It's basically a memory problem. Reboot the machine and try opening Bryce again, as the first and only program. It should come up without the message. As an aside, I've been encountered many corrupt Bryce files lately (MacOS 8.1) and typically the program opens, and then being unable to open the file, says something about "invalid file format". Also, I have other corrupted files where the message states "damaged resource fork." In both instances, this seems to occur more to extremely large files (200megs plus) and in the process of crashing the machine or doing some other process in the Finder, while trying to save the file itself. Good luck, manowar
