Greetings,

I'm having a problem with flat surfaces "curling" or appearing to be curled, when rendering. The image being applied does not curl, the surface being applied to is a square (Canvas) and yet every time I render I get this curled effect.

I have never had anything like this happen before, in fact this is the first I've seen of anything like this.

Any Ideas?
Need help ASAP as this assignment is due Wednesday morning.

Thanks,
Vially

i'm guessing its the poser 5 smooth polygons problem,in render options, uncheck smooth polygons and that should cure it :D

Shazz, Thank you, that was it. I am feeling very stupid right now, but that solved it. Now if I can just figure out how to get rid of the 'ball' shading I'd be happy as a clam. Thanks Again, Vially

I never before stopped to notice, but that distortion would work very well to achieve an older style television screen. Sincerely, Bill

Yeah if you can get it to bend in the correct directions. This was random, seems to follow the phong effects of the shader though, so it might be somewhat predictable.
