Poser won't run on Linux. I've never used Poser 4, but I suspect the problem can be solved using the usual ways of freeing up memory in Windows. Upgrade to XP, if you can. If you can't, try shutting down any unnecessary programs that might be running in the background before you start a render. It might help to reboot your computer before you render, especially if you've been working a long time.
