Dear Administrators, Have you noticed that ever since Monday either the counter here and at Rendererotica is either messed up or we are being FLOODED with folks on line to the point that you either can't get in here at all or it runs snail pace??!! Also sometimes get a message that there are to many connections and to try again later. Is any of this fixable and are you still moving to the NEW SITE???? Thank you, Verdie Ingram of Dreamspinner

hi verdie! yes, r'osity will be moving to it's own site. R'otica is already there. alot of paper shuffling nonsense is causing delays YUCK!! the slowness and huge numbers are "spiders" which are offline browsers and people attempting to "download" the site itself. It occurs when you are as huge as we are, but it seems this week we have had several continually hit us and our tech support has had a rough time kicking them out. That's pretty much the basics of it.

Hmm. A lot of hits on the site just before a new school year is to begin... Coincidence? I think not. I suspect you have three groups of people trying to obtain copies: 1) Instructors looking for examples and techniques to share, 2) Students looking for a way to make a fast buck, probably mainly by harvesting e-mails, and 3) Site members who may be without access for a while taking everything they can get. I could be wrong...
