Hey everyone, Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, the tiled look can be a pain in the butt sometimes. To remedy that, I enlarged the texture. Before it was 1000 X 1300. I doubled it to 2000 X 2600 and played with it so that it looks like one texture and not four put together. Quest - Yes, these are photo textures that I am using. I just couldn't get what I wanted fromt he DTE. I tried playing with the axis frequency, but to get the rust coming over the edges the way it is isn't easy. Yes, I can tweak it in post, but I want to try and do as much as I can without post. Zhann - How do you like the darkness on the lower deck? Better? As soon as I rendered it with the new textures, i thought of what you said. I like the contrast of the yellow/black safety striping against the grey better than the white or the beige, also. Coolcat - The repeating textures are accomplished in the materials lab with the editor. In the ML, look at the texture you are using. 2 Dots in the upper right of the texture box. 1st dot. Allows you to scale, move, stwist or rotate the texture. Groin - I thought about it, but I will need some help from you with the explosions. Oh, yeah, and Zhann, too. hehe Thanks everyone. I'll be posting more with the next few days. Think of anything else, let me know.
