It's probably worthwhile to recode all the Windows utilities into OS X versions, even if Renderosity's server logs and membership info don't accurately represent the number of Poser 5 X users (or potential users). My estimate is 3-4% as the potential proportion of Poser 5 X users, meaning at least 30,000 unit sales of Poser 5 X. The problem is convincing the programmers (Steve Cox, Martin C., Jim X, et al.) that it's in their best interests. We've told them that we'd buy their utilities, but OS X is not a programmer-friendly coding environment in many cases. To be blunt, it's still riddled with serious flaws, so I understand their reluctance. I had hoped that, after more than 2 years of patchwork and cosmetic surgery, they'd have OS X where it's supposed to be, but I still see daily reports of nasty problems experienced by both newbies and old pros.
