Well, I need to disagree with this "not a programmer-friendly coding environment in many cases". I am a programmer (C/C++, java, etc) for a long time now and I had never found a dev environment so productive and easy to use as Mac OS X's (note: I never used the older Mac OS9). It comes from the old NeXTStep (now it's called Cocoa) and it's much easier to use than VisualBasic and with the versatility of languages like SmallTalk (and it's a superset of C/C++, so you can use it also). My question is because I have been thinking of producing some Mac utilities and I would like to know if there is a market for Mac OS X utilities.
