Well, some of my friends don't have family, and some do... but need an excuse to get away later in the day. ;) Some of my friends have family on the other side of the country (or world) and can't get home. Some of my friends celebrate different holidays and feel left out by all the focus upon this one day. For whatever reason, they know that they can come to my place and get a hug and cup of hot spiced cider and interesting conversations drifting through the room. My home is called haukshavn because it is a haven for my friends as well as myself.
