What you also can do (and what I do) is clean up your folders from time to time. Deinstal those you hardley ever use and combine others. I've combined all my hair mat files into 3 folders instead of the seperate 15 folders or so they werte in before. The problem you describe ocurs when you reach 255 folders in a library. If you keep under that there shouldn't be a problem anymore. Cleaning up folders might not be a task to look forward to, especialy with that many folders, but if you do it every now or then it will not only resolve your problem but also make things easier to find.
