"I may just buy the computer and shelve XP for W98se." Don't do it! Buy the computer. Keep XP. It's waaaaay better than W98se. I speak as a recent diehard W98se'er converted to XP. Currently using home, but putting together a new box with XP Pro the wife has sprung for over Christmas - gotta love that woman!!!! I'm using ProPack still - never even installed P5 yet! It had too many issues early on, still very happy with PP. XP is worth it just for the memory management, IMHO! Just my 4 cents (inflation?) since you asked. Larry F
