What about reducing the textures size/ you don't have to render textures 3000x3000 for small animations, reduce them to minimum. I render right now test animation with firefly and volumetric light including shadows etc and Poser render 2 f/sec on 320x240 with 100% quality and textures was reduced to 500x500 and for final render as LawnDartLawnDart said I use too sequenced image files and edit it later if needed with Painter. Use reduced resolutions models for your test animations in place of high M3 that is not really made for doing animations with but still images.
