On the meshes: If you buy it in the store here or at websites like www.daz3d.com 99% chance that you can use the images you create for your movie. You CAN NOT distribute the meshes or sell them as your own. Most are this way and usually have a good readme that comes with them telling you what you can and cannot do. Some of the freebie items are usable commercially and are marked that way in the free section but again, you can not tistribute or sell the meshes. As in anything don't take this as gospel.
