8 is ideal, 7.5 is ideal for a female, but not the average actual proprtion for a woman (Victoria is taller than 7.5) but hardly any live woman is eight heads high (Victoria)... follow the link I provided and it explains that 8 heads on a male looks 'right' to the eye, but its not the actual average. If you are looking to make people that are more the average, and less ideal, then serious reproportioning is in order for most Poser characters, and you have to do it the whole body down. M3 is also heroic proportions. You put the ideal characters against a real person, and they look like a character, even with the best photorealistic textures. Wrong proportion kills photorealism pretty well. Great for comic book style though. I'm not into that. I like them to look more average in proportion, with body fat, natural bodies and faces. I don't want fashion models and too perfect people, its not in the style I want for myself. I learned 8+ heads for a female for fashion illustrations, yes, I took art courses also... Gee, you'd think some people would be happy that Steph Petite is more realistic with all the bitching I hear about Poser characters (especially Daz characters) never being realistic enough in anatomy. We finally get one and people arent happy with it either... No pleasing some people I guess. shrugs, walks away to continue morphing her
