Ghost is a program that makes back-up copies of your files. But it's strength is it's ability to copy an exact image of your entire HD. And allows you to burn that image to CD's or DVD's. Wipe out your HD. Load all of your programs. Set up all of your settings the way you like them. Then save the entire shebang to disks. And you are prepared to handle anything that the hackers can toss at you. Just simply re-load the saved image. And your system is brand spankin' new again. Registry and all. Norton's web site can tell you more. I sure do love that program. I'm no longer afraid to go anywhere any more. If my system gets wacked. I just restore it in about 20mins.
