Yes...actually you should, nomad....dont panic! You should go and look at the download bloodsong directed you to. All the morphs are already made....all you have to do is tweak them ("shorten snout, shorten tail...da da da....)until the animal looks much like you had in mind. Quite frankly it is the only possible way of getting a gopher in the next few days so you can work with it. Certainly it would take weeks to start a new animal mesh from scratch and have the joints etc. work...there are also some great animal textures for the capsces morphcat to make it look like a raccoon, rabbit, whatever and probably one of them would be gopher enough to work.
