
After this, the grass objects were dropped onto the terrain and the render was done. Here's a partial render. Once the render was done, you'll notice that there'll be gaps in the grass where the 2d pict objects just didn't group after the randomize function. To fill these in, I used a clone brush (Photoshop) of other parts of the field - but its important to use a part of the field from the same "depth" in the picture to clone/fill each particular empty area up with (hope that makes sense).
