One thing about slide shows. If timed incorrectly a slow connection will see only part of an image before it starts to load the next image. In the same aspect if it is too lomg in bewteen images on a fast connection the visitor will get bored waiting for the next image to load. For these reasons I STRONGLY reccomend against slide shows. I want the visitor to my site to sit e there and stare as long as they want to at my work. If the image keeps changing on them they are less apt to visit again or tell friends about my site.
