As Michelle says this is an honor, a great honor and I'm really very happy. If you have had the patience to read the "few words" of the link, you know that I discovered Renderosity through Poser and I like Poser very much, also fractals, 2D, MM and 3D in general, but my forum, my gallery, the majority of my favorite artist and friends are here, in the photography community, this wonderful group well know at my home, we (my wife and me) comment about your images, about your comments on my photos, even my youngest daughter knows where is New Zealand and don't know where are some European countries.
I've got excited on having read in the subject of this message "One Of Our Own" because it's as I feel, a member of this group and, without doubt, for me, one of the best things of the year 2003.
Tedz is right, my family is very happy as well, because they have been with me when I took the majority of photos of my gallery and some times with lots of patience and some times asking "but what are you shooting here?"
Also I remember very well moments taking photos for the challenge as "Notturno in la Piazza" in Venice with my daughters playing in the Piazza San Marco (the blurred figures in the left are they because the exposition of 30 seconds) and my wife an I talking next to the tripod. Lots of moments of happiness associated with the photography; when I'm modeling 3D or doing an image in mixed medium or a fractal I'm alone in front my computer but I share the photography with my family.
Btw, Tedz, your Catalan every day is better will be great when we'll go to your wee cottage and to be able to speak Catalan in NZ.
@ Cyn: I have a debt with you h
@ Kim, Tedz, Cyn, Donald, Ronesh and Jack thanks for your congrats.
@ Michelle: The AOY is a photographer because of the excellent photographers, and their wonderful photos posted every day, that this gallery has and because of your responsible, serious and professional work as moderator of this forum increased by your wonderful photos (We, the Catalans, say "The work well done doesn't have frontiers, the work done badly doesn't have future" and I think you do your work very well). For this, its an honor and I'm very grateful with you all. Thanks!!!
