With Vue d'Esprit 4 and rendercow you only can render animations, as far as I know, entirely or image by image as you like. With Vue 4 Pro, you can render also stills over a network. But I may be wrong as I never have updated rendercow for Vue d'Esprit 4, using only Pro.
