Muggle6: I'm running a 1.7ghz 1gb machine with XP Pro. I was going to say that although I don't know at what level of file size the problem manifests itself, it's always large, however after reading MP's stuff about textures I can say it always fails after Vue fails to load a texture. (This is both 4.12 and Pro) Whilst I'm thinking about it now I reckon MP's on to a winner as the objects and polygons are never huge and compared to others in this thread the file sizes are modest (150mb) but the textures can be large and many of them. (7 x 4000x4000) and thats just the body textures without heads, eyes, clothes etc etc. I will investigate over the next few days.
