JohnRender, go back and take fourth grade math again,it's obvious that you didn't make it the first time. XP isn't an operating system that anyone would want as their only one, I have found very little that will run reliably under xp, and most of them run just fine on 95 or 98. There are exceptions to any version of wincrash, but that's what I keep the Linux box for. If I'm going to do what I know is going to be a long (10 to 18 hour) render, the files are transfered to the linux box, it hasn't crashed on me yet. (XP crashes with a word processor????!!!!)
