This procedure has been used in the past to convert clothes between figures which have the same mesh, although Morph Manager is not usually involved; The Tailor can make full body morphs. Where the figures don't have the same mesh, sometimes a talented member of the community such as Lord Nakagawa will make a "mannequin" which performs the same task. However these have to be approved by DAZ. Joint parameters are usually taken care of by a conforming pose which injects them into the new CR2. Again, this requires someone with skill and time to do it. I can't verify any of this for the opposite reason: I don't have Stephanie 3. However I have tried it with other figures.
