Erlik, you get the same sharpness doing it after it's loaded, as you do before it is, the only thing people forget to do after increasing the res is to hit 'APPLY', that is the most important thing...and having the greyscale or bw in .bmp format, although I see the png converter does a pretty nice job too.... The other thing to remember is, after adjusting the slider upwards, also hit 'APPLY' and it will give you the clearest, crispest, sharpest terrain and lattices. Remember after doing anything with those adjustments, hit the 'Apply' so Bryce applies them to your image...
