Part of the issue as I see it is that there are a number of new mods/admins who are enforcing the rules differently. Some practices that had been widespread for quite a while previously are now being smacked down on. shrugs What I do not like, and will never like, is the locking of threads just because the mods don't want to talk about it any more, such as the pdjxims thread. No violations, no one was getting particularly nasty, but boom. Lockdown. If someone can't take the heat, they really shouldn't be in the moderating kitchen.
