Load a ball prop, use the grouping tool to assign a new material to it called 'Ball'. Load a cylinder, assign a new material to it called 'Pin'. Scale the cylinder to 43%, yScale it to 3000%, yTran it to 0.080. Use a magnet to pull the top cylinder cap into a point. Export a Wavefront OBJ containing both props. Reimport the obj, apply a silver reflection map to the pin material and set the Reflective and Highlight color to white, Object and Ambient to Black, set whatever colour you like to the ball, rescale the prop to 3 or 4%, then save it to a props pallet, call it "HatPin".
