jwhitham - I loaded a sphere and applied the texture and then moved it back in the scene. I'm thinking it has to do with the atmosphere/fog. MightyPete - Thanks for the tip and link. I'll give it a try. I actually didn't add the stars later, I just haven't photoshopped them out yet.
