There is still plenty of new free stuff for victoria two and I have seen some for michael 1 and 2 also. It seems foolish to abandon older figures for vic 3 and michael 3 as well as making a lot of the gallery images look a bit samey. "making a lot of the gallery images look a bit samey" that is going to be a bit unpopular with vic3 and mike 3 fans.
Great Pair use them often, and love them. Mike 3 Vic 3 "What exactly do you hate about them?" 1.the over look of Mike 2.memory demands of both 3.not user friendly/ both What kind of stuff are you specifically looking for? 1. Nice textures 2. every day modern clothes for both 3.Period Clothes for both NOTE Clothes for the MIL Boy of any type
I haven't liked M3 for some time now. Tried to get some things fixed to make it a better figure (i.e., joints for one) but got hackled at by the majority of the community. They all said work with it awhile. Well, I've worked with it since day one and still don't like it. M2 is still the best male figure DAZ has done and like Trav said, with Boris, it's even better. New is NOT always better.
Actually I think part of the problem with M3 was Daz's implementation of the universal mesh. Basically if you're going to make v3, m3, freak and other's out of the same basic mesh, you're not going to get a good return on any of them. Like in the above pic, M3's pecks are way too high (probably as a compromise for V3's chest), middle length is too long (again that would work on V3 but not on a guy) and his thighs look too ballooned. Plus M3 just doesn't have an impressive stature.
Niles, if you don't have one, I highly recommend a subscription to Poserworld. There's TONS of stuff for M1/2, V1/2, and the MilKids there. Including some really cute historical clothes for the kids, yes, even the boys! Me, I love M3. The only thing I don't like are those weird traps. But they are easily fixed. I like his slender, younger look. But I think I've forsaken V3 for Steph Petite. Anyone who makes her clothes, especially fantasy clothing, has a good chance of getting my money. :-)
I personally don't use M3 or V3 either. I'm not a rich person, and have to spend my money wisely. Paying another $40 for a character that has too many flaws that I have heard of is something I can't bring myself to do. But, I do use v2 / M2. And I too run into problems with finding clothes for them lately. I see a lot of wonderful outfits for v3 that I would love to use...but alas, that little number 3 keeps that from happening. So I am stuck using the same freebies I have had for the last year, with an occasional purchase from the Marketplace. But it has to be something that really catches my eye. I would love to buy people's products....if they would remember v2/m2 still existed.
I just wanted to let people know that I am in fact in the middle of making character sets for the version 2 characters. ( Not steph, as I dont have her.. ) Im converting my Rhiannon texture and morph over to V2 as well and have 3 M2 textures and characters currently in the works too. You've not been forgotten.. Im just slow g -stace-

I think most people have forgotten that Ratteler since he doesn't have any morphs. Has anyone tried tailoring or morph moving morphs over to him? Just wondering. The reason I like the M3 figure is that he is in proportion ... I have sized him up to an artistic guide and he lines up perfectly whereas the M2 figure doesn't line up at all. If you give the figure joints and and a starting point that works with the artistic ideal then it should be easy to morph into something that is proportional. Since M2 was never proportional artists look at things created by him and think that the legs are off and short and the torso is too long etc. I am not too crazy about the traps on M3 and there are a few other gripes and changes tha I might make but he is a good starting point and one that fills the gap since a lot of people complained that M2 was too muscular. Just my 2 cents.

Merchants if you want my money do not forget that we have Mike and Vicky 1/2. I have Mike3 and Vic 3, but to be honest I hate both of them and use them rarely.
