I don't want to start a religious war. Fact is that Vue does very good renders for near to mid-range distance. For far away landscape Terragen does a wonderful job. It certainly lacks vegetation and Poser import and... What I try to do is a Terragen like landscape and then add vegetation, buildings, characters,... Vue seems to be a good choice for that. I search for hints how to do this distant landscapes with Vue. Importing as background is one solution, but you have to take care, that the background fits to your Vue render and I don't want to learn working with Terragen. I saw one or two renders that looked like Terragen and they were done in Vue. Just looking for someone who gives me the direction to a basic set of settings in Vue. Anyway I'll start working on that today and maybe I will release a tutorial on that if someone is interested.
