At one time I saw a link for a memory utility called Cacheman, by a company called Outer Technologies. However, that was back when i was running Win98SE. I just checked their page, and they show that they are currently beta testing CachemanXP. I quote for their site: "The Cacheman utility is designed to improve the performance of your computer by optimizing the disk cache, memory and a number of other settings." It comes with a whole bunch of preset profiles for doing different work on your pc - from cd ripping to multimedia work, and so on. When I ran it with Win98SE, I didn't see much of a performance jump, but I was running with very little disk space and memory available at the time anyway.
