Thanks nish ! I didn't know that gallery. "The Natural Bridge" is one of the most realistic Vue landscapes I have ever seen. After using Vue for a long time, I would add for Tintifax to keep in mind the issue of scale. This is what I believe gives a lot of images a 'Vue' look vs a 'Terragen' look. It is easy to overlook the scale of textures, scale of fog and haze, scale of mountains in the background. You will have to get all of these right and balanced to have the right look. Use a camera with a wide angle so that your clouds appear more detailed. Use high definition terrains (512x512 and above) with good height maps for a more realistic effect. Use something in the foreground to give a good sense of scale to the whole scene. The power of Vue (and also the difficulty) is that all of these settings can be applied independently, whereas Terragen takes care of a lot of things automatically.
