Subject: unjagged reflection (PovRay)

as a reflection to biggert's problem, i rendered a reflection scene in PovRay. technically: i left just a little bit of diffusion on the reflective surface, else you won't be able to see that it is really a reflection and not a second, mirrored object. figure is stephanie 3 with a DAZ standard pose dress is by poserfashion (i think steph is not too happy with this dress)

Hmmmm. Second mirror behind camera, multiple passes, could be interesting. Add an area lamp, radiosity, media, and come back day after tomorrow.

Better luck than I had, XP took yet another nosedive. (I shoulda used the Linux box.)

that's what i do ... yet poser does not run unter linux, and i doubt it will in the forseeable future. anyway, kinda OS gymnastics - boot this, boot that - currently i got about half of the lines in 24 minutes. doesn't look that slow. but i admit, i cheat: no "real" media, just some fog.
