That looks very good Cath, and very Conan-ish in the first picture!

rilou77 ( ) posted Mon, 19 January 2004 at 5:11 AM

The last time I saw him, he was a good friend of Sarah CONNOR. Wasn't he ?

Mec4D ( ) posted Mon, 19 January 2004 at 5:40 AM

Yea Conan was great!!!!!!!! the best I like mister California, not my governor so I don't care...but I think a top character for Freak, but now if we do it, I don't want that he terminate me.. lol I don't used self any photos for the morph just from imagination so maybe we can prepare something in the future and call him Carnold Canon hahahah I'll be back! cath

You never cease to amaze me Cath, he looks terrific! (:

Staby ( ) posted Mon, 19 January 2004 at 8:06 AM

Great work Cath! Are you going to make this available? Well maybe you can't because he is a celebrity... Anyway M3 and the Freak need more face morphs and would be great to have some realistic looking face like this. Again you rock!

SndCastie ( ) posted Mon, 19 January 2004 at 8:30 AM

Great job on this!! you should be proud :O) I agree they should have given more morphs to M3 and the freak.

The Guubernator! What a coincidence, my friend and I just watched the 20th anniversary spec ed Conan dvd last night! I've wanted to do a Arnold/Conan render for a while now and this would definitely help. Pleeeease make this morph available Cath!! I don't know the legalities, I assume also you can't really sell it because of the "copyright" issue. Asta Lavista baby! Well Done!

jaybutton ( ) posted Mon, 19 January 2004 at 9:57 AM

Amazing likeness. :) Jay

xantor ( ) posted Mon, 19 January 2004 at 10:55 AM

Jayme ( ) posted Mon, 19 January 2004 at 11:04 AM

(Joke Mode ON) Yep looks exactly like Allen Alda from MASH. Excellent work! (joke mode OFF)

Photopium ( ) posted Mon, 19 January 2004 at 11:04 AM

You can sell it, because now that he is an elected offical his likeness can be used for satire purposes. It's like his face becomes public property to some degree. One could also, legally, make a "Governator Action Figure" without his approval. -WTB

hmatienzo ( ) posted Mon, 19 January 2004 at 11:13 AM

I hope you release him soon!!!

(Joke Mode Kinda ;-) If Govenator pics start showing up in the Galleries I think we need a new Barfinator Flag (& maybe a bucket. From Sacramento,California :-)

There were several Governor Jesse Ventura action figures, they were very well done. Most impressive work, Cath!

DCArt ( ) posted Mon, 19 January 2004 at 12:06 PM

OH MY GOD!!! That is fantastic, Cath! You're right, Cath, it looks JUST like Ahnold when he did "Pumping Iron." I remember when that movie came out I thought he was SO obnoxious, and I felt sorry for Lou Ferrigno (who later became the Hulk). Who woulda thought he'd become the major blockbuster hit that he did (Terminator was just the role for him!), and later Gov of Calif?? LOL That is absolutely fantastic!

PapaBlueMarlin ( ) posted Mon, 19 January 2004 at 6:26 PM

Nice work Cath. I have never really liked Ahnuld myself. What were the people in Cali-forn-ya thinking?

dragongirl ( ) posted Mon, 19 January 2004 at 7:54 PM

The Freak looks great as Arnold! Nice job!

PapaBlueMarlin ( ) posted Mon, 19 January 2004 at 9:36 PM

Cath, do you have a tutorial on how to create morphs in ZBrush?

catlin_mc ( ) posted Mon, 19 January 2004 at 11:45 PM

It is the Governator!! WOW! that is an extraordinary likeness Cath, I've seen no better. If you do intend to sell him you'll have me waiting in line to get him. 8) Catlin

Mec4D ( ) posted Tue, 20 January 2004 at 12:13 AM

Hahhaa thanks for all the replies... If I sell it? if I can but.. I charge $45 per hour of my work, I did this morph in 5 min so the cost are $3.5 per morph the minimal price to sell is $5.00 LOL so not busines, why not for free? but, if you load the morph into Freak and set it on 0.740 it works fine, but you have to change the position of the eyes and fix it other the eyes will return back to own position after you add a pose, you need to save the new character in the figures menu as base.. I will remove the other things from the morph and let you know about where you can download it with instruction. He is not exact the same from all angles so you need to play a bit with and don't change to much expression , other he will lost own Arny look. If I good remember I have to remove everything bellow the V* in the morph files right? to allow me the distribution of the file. Cath
