I totally agree! The forums dedicated to specific software use the challenge to help teach and learn different aspects. It's just a fun way to help a lot of people at once. I have been playing a bit in the Bryce forum, and when they had the Deep Texture Editor challenge, I learned so much about that and now feel much more confident there. (I hope they do lighting soon!) I love the fact that this gallery is open to anyone using any kind of fractal generating software (and occasionally even software that doesn't really make fractals). This way, I get a chance to see a lot of different and interesting ART. I have seen the work you put into your amazing florals, and this challenge would be right up your alley (so to speak) so I was kind of sad that you felt excluded.
