Subject: Poser 5, ridiculously slow!!!

  1. turn off the extras in xp like rounded windows and shadowed windows. 2. Make sure you are not running over a network mapped drive letter. That is very slow. 3. Make sure you have sr3 installed from Curious Labs. 4. Try running in 16 bit color mode for you desktop. I've noticed poser 5 runs faster in 16 bit color mode. 5. Use fast preview mode unless necessary (ctrl-shift-x). Real time preview mode is unnecessary.
