You know what I do when I hit the artist's block. I delve into my old issues of American Art magazine and try to duplicate an old masters or comtemporary master's artwork. Usually about half way through the piece I start to digress and then ideas start to flow. Or I just take a drive through the dairy flatlands out in Mira Loma and the landscape is enough to get some emotions going. Or I ask people for scenes they'd like to see then I pick one.
