I think you are completely wrong Rayraz I think Mars has life and that is why we send so many probes there. I also think that is why some of them mysteriously go dark; it would freak the average person out to know that there is life there. The scientists want to study this and know fully what they are dealing with so they dont look like buffoons when they announce it! Once they have a good grasp on what it is how it lives and other such things then they might let us know, after some Brookings report saying the world is ready. I know this sounds really fringe conspiracy type stuff but think about it for a minute. There are 1 billion Muslims and about 1 billion Christians both of which (and no offense) believe the earth to still be the center of the universe and that their creator made earth unique! Maybe at a individual level or certain societies this would not have that big of an impact but on a global scale this will be the biggest news in the history of our planet. Why you might ask, well it changes everything we believe in that life is only found here we would have to even rethink our origins and our place in the universe. That is why we are spending so much on a silly little brown planet named Mars.
