As the original poster of the "clean expletives" thread, let me put forth a few thoughts on this. Everyone who hangs out on a message board knows the feeling of putting up a post and getting no response whatsoever... it stinks. A natural response is to post where there's a lot of traffic... get the most eyes on it, so to speak. Also, being a project being done in Poser, it was relatively on topic, unlike other threads in Poser about people's personal lives. The unannounced moving of threads can also create some problems, such as with my thread. It was moved shortly after I posted a panel using mock-ups of examples, and when I stopped seeing activity in the Poser forum on that thread right after, I assumed no one cared enough to comment on the work, which hurt my feelings a bit. It was a quickie, slap-up job as far as the artistry, but I thought someone would at least comment on my choice of phrase. It was only a day or two later when I checked in on the Writer's forum that I not only found my thread, but I found another thread started by another community member that singled out my thread and made some negative comments about my final choice of phrase, which I found condescending, patronizing, and rather inappropriate. All this is my longwinded way of saying that I think a private message to the original poster is a good idea... if a thread absolutely must be moved. There's so much activity in the Poser forum, and most threads die out after a day or two anyway, that to me moving the threads out of it is pointless anyway. And I agree with Kendra... it's not that hard to skip over a thread you don't have any interest in.
