You are right and wrong mateo. Yes, LucasFilm has embraced the fan community rather than going after Billy for putting up a picture of a light sabre, BUT, they have NOT gotten lax on intellectual property where money is concerned. Sci-Fi conventions are not allowed to show fan-art unless clearly marked not for sale. Lucas sued a medical equipment company for calling their laser surgery cutters light sabres. It is one thing to do a picture for no money and put it up, then it is to do sell it in a commercial book. However as you said, probably people won't know, though it's doubtful as well that the tie-fighters were licensed for commercial use.

Still though, an awesome book from what I've seen from the previews, if not a little short on current artists that are doing awesome work. I did notice some favorites in there, but there are some that Rosity hasn't even seen in years, which I find strange considering the book's title. Well chosen works though...
