Anything but I specialize in Night and Nature Ease of use? By far the Sony is easier. however the Nikon is much more flexible. The Nikon makes me work and give me a larger reward. The Nikon is a complete system with few limitations. The question is can I bend ist flexibility to my will? Only time will tell! :) Did you read the manual? Before I took a single shot (both cameras) What does the camera record on? (ie: CD, memory stick, file disk etc.) Sony SmartStick CompactFlash Is this method cost effective? Digital in general is very cost efective. I shoot everything without fear of wasting film or money. The thing I could waste is my time. What kind of battery/batteries does your camera take? Both use specially designed NihM batteries and I haven't run out of juice yet. Do you consider this Cost effective? obviously Would you consider this camera a good value for your money? Both give me more bang for my buck than I ever expected. Would you recommend this camera to a friend? Either one depending on the individuals wants needs. Is this camera a D-SLR? The D100 is.
